Ingredients:

4 boneless pork chops (about 1½ pounds)

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 small onion, thinly sliced

2 cups chicken broth

½ cup milk

Fresh chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

👩‍🍳 Directions:

Preheat a large skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter.

Prepare the pork chops by seasoning both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Lightly coat each chop with flour, shaking off any extra.

Cook the pork chops in the hot skillet for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove them from the pan and set aside.

Make the gravy by adding the remaining butter and sliced onions to the same skillet. Cook until the onions are soft. Sprinkle in any leftover flour and stir for 1 minute. Slowly pour in chicken broth and milk, stirring until smooth and slightly thickened.

Smother and simmer by placing the pork chops back into the skillet. Spoon gravy over the top, cover, and let simmer for 10–15 minutes until the pork is fully cooked and tender.

Garnish and serve with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm with mashed potatoes or rice and enjoy a cozy, comforting dinner!
