Crockpot Chicken and Stuffing

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5–2 lbs / 700–900g)
  • 1 box 6 oz / 170g stuffing mix (any flavor)
  • 1 can 10.5 oz / 300g cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup melted butter

Seasonings (Optional but Recommended)

  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt adjust to taste
  • ½ tsp dried parsley

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken
  • Lightly grease the crockpot.
  • Place chicken breasts in the bottom.
  • Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Make the Creamy Layer
  • In a bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and chicken broth.
  • Spread the mixture evenly over the chicken.
  • Add the Stuffing
  • In a separate bowl, combine stuffing mix with melted butter.
  • Sprinkle the stuffing evenly over the creamy layer.
  • Slow Cook
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 4–6 hours or HIGH for 2.5–3.5 hours.
  • Chicken should be tender and easy to shred.
  • Serve
  • Serve whole or shred the chicken and mix slightly with the stuffing before plating.
