Ingredients
→ Base
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 can refrigerated pizza dough
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
→ Topping
1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
→ Glaze
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 to 2 teaspoons milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Steps
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll the pizza dough into a circle or rectangle on the baking sheet. Brush the surface evenly with melted butter and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
Bake the prepared dough for 8 to 10 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy.
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the warm, baked crust.
Evenly spoon cherry pie filling over the cream cheese layer.
Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 to 7 minutes until the topping is bubbling.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for several minutes before glazing.
Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth. Drizzle over the pizza before serving.
