After a near‑death experience that led to a three‑day coma in 2024, Robert Marshall says he met Jesus.
He appeared as a guest on the Next Level Soul Podcast, where he spoke in detail about his life‑changing experience. Robert explained that his experience wasn’t simply “near‑death” — he believes he had “actually died.” He said, “I was dead for three days.”
In May 2024, he went to an outpatient emergency room to have a “very large mass on his neck that was swollen” examined.
“They did an MRI, blood tests. I was having trouble breathing — that’s why I went there,” he shared.
He described his experience in his book 44 Hours in Heaven, explaining that he went into “code blue” three times.
He later learned, according to his book, that he had been “drowning on his blood in his lungs, acute hypoxic respiratory failure, and cardiac arrest.”
He claims that during this time, he went to heaven and met Jesus.
He described the setting as filled with giant oak trees, flowers, and “the most vibrant colors.” He also recalled feeling an overwhelming sense of “peace and love.”
Upon meeting Jesus, Robert said that even though he was in awe, he asked to be “sent back” simply to comfort his wife because he “felt every bit of her pain.”
This, he says, is when he received a message from Jesus — shortly before doctors were able to revive him.
He then revealed what Jesus told him: “When you first came before me, you asked if you could go back.”
He joked, “I went, ‘Oh, he did hear!’” to which podcast host Alex Ferrari replied, “I don’t think Jesus is hard of hearing.”
Robert continued recounting Jesus’ words: “He said, ‘Your brain has been destroyed,’ obviously.”
Jesus then added, “I could and would send you back with some caveats. I’ll send you back with a miracle that nobody could ever deny — not the doctors, not the nurses, not scientists. Nobody could ever deny that I am God and I did this, and there’s no question that I’m alive, I’m real, heaven is real.”
Robert said Jesus told him he would give him a “new brain” and also “restore your entire memory.”
