Cheesy Beef Pasta

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef

2 cups uncooked pasta (like penne or rotini)

1 small onion, chopped

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce

1/2 cup beef broth or water

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1 ½ cups shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese

1 tbsp olive oil

👩‍🍳 Directions:

Preheat your stove and bring a pot of salted water to a boil.

Cook the pasta: Boil pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Cook the beef: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and cook until soft. Stir in garlic, then add ground beef. Cook until browned and no longer pink. Drain excess fat.

Simmer the sauce: Add tomato sauce, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the beef. Simmer for 5–7 minutes.

Combine and melt: Add cooked pasta to the skillet and mix well. Sprinkle cheese over the top, cover with a lid, and let sit for 2–3 minutes until cheese is melted and gooey.

Serve: Scoop onto plates and enjoy warm—extra cheese on top if you’re feelin’ fancy!
