- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5–2 lbs / 700–900g)
- 1 box 6 oz / 170g stuffing mix (any flavor)
- 1 can 10.5 oz / 300g cream of chicken soup
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup melted butter
Seasonings (Optional but Recommended)
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp salt adjust to taste
- ½ tsp dried parsley
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken
- Lightly grease the crockpot.
- Place chicken breasts in the bottom.
- Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Make the Creamy Layer
- In a bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and chicken broth.
- Spread the mixture evenly over the chicken.
- Add the Stuffing
- In a separate bowl, combine stuffing mix with melted butter.
- Sprinkle the stuffing evenly over the creamy layer.
- Slow Cook
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4–6 hours or HIGH for 2.5–3.5 hours.
- Chicken should be tender and easy to shred.
- Serve
- Serve whole or shred the chicken and mix slightly with the stuffing before plating.
