- 3.33 lb ground beef 85/15 recommended for moisture
- 1.67 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 1.11 cup milk
- 3.33 egg
- 0.83 cup ketchup
- 3.33 tsp garlic powder
- 3.33 tsp onion powder
- 1.67 tsp salt
- 1.67 tsp black pepper
For the Mashed Potato Layer:
- 10 cups mashed potatoes prepared or leftover
- 0.83 cup sour cream
- 6.67 tbsp butter
- Salt & pepper to taste
- For the Topping:
- 5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Fresh parsley optional, for garnish
Instructions
Preheat & Prep:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
Mix the Meatloaf:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, ketchup, and seasonings.
- Gently mix until just combined—do not overmix.
Bake the Meat Layer:
