32 oz bag of frozen tater tots
14 oz kielbasa smoked sausage, any flavor variety
1 tablespoon butter
3-4 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
1 bottle BBQ sauce, any flavor variety
Steps
Bake the tater tots according to the package directions.
While the tater tots are baking, slice the smoked sausage into pieces.
Heat a skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of butter and cook the sausage until it becomes crispy and caramelized. Drain any excess grease and stir in BBQ sauce to taste.
Remove the baked tater tots from the oven, cover them with grated cheddar cheese, and return them to the oven for about 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
Top the cheesy tater tots with the cooked BBQ sausage and add any additional toppings as desired.
