Ingredients
→ Main Ingredients
4 hot dogs
4 string cheese, cheddar
1 can Pillsbury pizza dough
1 can chili, 15 oz
→ Garlic Butter Topping
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped
Steps
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Grease a 6 x 10-inch or 7 x 11-inch baking pan or similar-sized dish.
Remove the string cheese from wrappers and cut each piece in half lengthwise. Set aside.
Open the can of pizza dough, roll it out, and cut it into 4 equal sections.
Take a hot dog and sandwich it with two halves of cheddar string cheese lengthwise.
Wrap each hot dog and cheese bundle with one section of dough, covering the entire length of the hot dog. Ensure the seam is positioned on the bottom.
Place the wrapped hot dogs seam-side down into the prepared pan. Pour the chili around the wrapped hot dogs.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the dough is cooked through and golden brown on top.
Mix the melted butter with garlic powder and chopped parsley.
Brush the tops of the baked hot dogs with the garlic parsley butter.
Serve immediately and enjoy.
Tips
- Ensure the dough is fully sealed around the hot dogs to avoid leaks during baking.
- Chop parsley finely for an even distribution in the garlic butter.
