Max Alexander’s journey into fashion began astonishingly early. When he was just four years old, he confidently told his parents that he wanted to become a dressmaker. What might have sounded like childhood imagination quickly turned into something much more remarkable. By the age of seven, Max had already secured a place in the **Guinness World Records** as the youngest runway fashion designer.
Now at only ten years old, Max has reached another incredible milestone. He recently made history as the **youngest designer ever to present a collection at Paris Fashion Week**, unveiling his designs at the iconic Palais Garnier on March 3. His debut collection featured 15 dresses, with sustainability at its core. Around 90 percent of the garments were created using biodegradable, recyclable, or deadstock fabrics—materials that fashion companies often discard as leftovers.
The young designer’s work is already gaining global attention. One of his latest bag designs sold out within just 24 hours, and his growing popularity on social media has earned him nearly six million followers on Instagram.
Despite his age, Max’s accomplishments continue to stack up. In addition to presenting collections in cities such as New York, Denver, and Aspen, he has designed pieces for actress Sharon Stone and even spoken at the United Nations about the importance of reducing waste in the fashion industry.
His Paris Fashion Week debut drew major attention from industry leaders. Among those seated in the front row was Fern Mallis, the founder of New York Fashion Week, who praised the young designer’s talent, calling him truly one of a kind.
Outside the world of fashion, Max is still very much a typical fourth grader from Los Angeles. He enjoys playing pickleball, exploring robotics, and practicing the piano. Yet his ambitions remain firmly focused on the runway. His ultimate dream is to one day become a renowned couturier in Paris.
