Let’s find this friendly boy a home!

Thanks to the work of volunteers at City Dogs Cleveland, adoptable pups at the city-run shelter get plenty of love, attention and enrichment. But one dog named Bay recently took it into his own paws to get even more.
And it was no small feat.

The other day, Bay was enjoying some fresh air in a private outdoor enclosure, adjacent to two other dogs, when he hatched an adorable plan. Rather than settle for greeting the neighboring pups through the chain-link fence, he decided to join them.
As security footage shows, Bay scaled the fence to come face to face with his shelter mate. Then he did it again.
“Bay embarked on a Great Escape from one of our outdoor areas to make some new friends,” City Dogs Cleveland wrote. “Fortunately, his neighbors Pumpkin and Flip Flop seemed happy enough to see a new buddy drop down from the sky. Now we know — Bay is an impressive climber!”
@citydogscleWith most of the dogs at the kennel, we don’t usually know how or why they ended up here. But with Bay, we now have a pretty good guess 🫢 Bay embarked on a Great Escape from one of our outdoor areas to make some new friends. Fortunately, his neighbors Pumpkin and Flip Flop seemed happy enough to see a new buddy drop down from the sky. Now we know – Bay is an impressive climber! Bay is a smart, athletic pup who is looking for a fun-loving home. And no worries if you don’t have a fenced-in yard, because it might not contain him (perhaps a privacy fence would.) So he’ll be happy to get his exercise with on-leash walks, runs and hikes and indoor play time! Not surprisingly, Bay’s adoption profile describes the 2-year-old pittie/terrier mix as smart, fun and engaging.
“Bay can be an active pup but has an easy-going disposition in that he’s up for all sorts of things if he can do it at your side,” the shelter wrote. “Whether it’s sniffing and exploring on walks, or romping around with a toy in the yard, Bay is game.”

Bay’s climbing skills are impressive — but they’ll be something his future family will need to keep in mind. A home with a privacy fence and plenty of opportunities to exercise would likely be best suited for him.
“He makes an eager sidekick for playtime and adventures,” the shelter wrote. “All he craves is your love and attention!”

Family Buys Vacant Fixer-Upper — Then Cameras Show Two Little Souls Living Inside
“They will never have to survive like that again …”
By Ashley Ortiz
After buying a fixer-upper in Southern California, a family installed security cameras inside the empty house so they could keep an eye on things while they weren’t there.
Every so often, their phones would buzz with motion alerts from inside. But whenever they checked the footage, the rooms looked completely empty. Then one night, the alert went off again — and this time, someone appeared on camera.
“[O]ne morning around 3 a.m., the camera finally showed it clearly,” Suzette Hall, founder of Logan’s Legacy 29, wrote on Facebook. “Two little dogs.”
